Q. Does the Tour happen on the same weekend every year?
- A. Yes, the Camano Island Studio Tour is held on Mother’s Day weekend annually.
Q. How do I find Camano Island?
- A. The Tour happens on Camano Island and in Stanwood. Take I-5 north through Everett to Exit #212 and take SR 532 east. This will take you into Stanwood; follow 532 to Camano Island. There will be prominent signs to direct you to Tour locations.
Q. How long will this take me and what will it cost?
- A. Stanwood & Camano Island are approximately one hour north of Seattle. The Tour is free and self-guided.
Q. How can I find my way around?
- A. You’ll need a Tour brochure. Brochures are available at art-related stores, shops and galleries around Greater Seattle and north Puget Sound. Call 425-231-7236 to have one mailed to you, or find the information on this site. If you’re coming into town, stop at Haggen’s at the Village and pick up a brochure. It contains a map, artists’ images, information on rest stops and restaurants and other critical data.
Q. What will I see on the Tour?
- A. There are 35 studios and galleries on the 2009 Studio Tour, with over 65 artists displaying and selling their art. It’s also a wonderful chance to see Camano Island and enjoy the marine views and recreational destinations the Island offers.
