At age thirty two, Jack E. Dorsey, had his first major exhibit at the Frye Art Museum in 1972 followed by his second in 1979. Then his watercolors went international, when he had a one-man exhibit in Tokyo, Japan which sold out. Alas, when art was flourishing for him, he decided to go into the corporate world to enable his family some security which temporarily ended his art career for some sixteen years. Now collectors are once again finding his “one of a kind” paintings and are investing in the future.
He welcomes visitors to his home and studio where paints and conducts private lessons and workshops. He is past president and life member of the Northwest Watercolor Society. He is a past member of the Puget Sound group of Northwest Painters and an associate member of Oil Painters of America.
“I welcome those interested in my art, to contact us for a visit to our home and studio, where you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and talk art with me and my wife Ann Cory.”
