The hours that you do volunteer work for CAA, are a valuable asset and help us qualify for grants and produce the Studio Tour.  All members - please report the hours you work monthly by completing the Volunteer Hour Reporting Form sent to you with the minutes of the general membership meetings.

 

Established Studio Tour Artists work 20 hours each year in support of CAA and/or the studio tour.  Hours accumulate easily with the work necessary to produce the tour. Hours submitted between July 1, 2017 and June 30th, 2018 will be applied towards your eligibility status for the 2019 studio tour.  You must be a member in good standing as of the June General Membership meeting to be eligible to jury for the next studio tour.  Note:  New Studio Tour Artists are not required to have accrued all of their Volunteer Hours prior to their first tour, but should start accruing as soon as possible for the following year's tour.  

 

New Studio Tour Artists start working and submitting their hours as soon as they join CAA. Please note: Hours worked between July 1, 2017  and June 30, 2018 will be applied towards their eligibility for the 2019 studio tour. 

The jury process for the Studio Tour occurs in September or October of the prior year.

 

What kind of work qualifies ?

A list of standing committees is available from the Board of Directors or the Studio Tour Directors.  

There are Administrative Committees and Studio Tour Committees.  Something for everyone.   

Special Projects can also be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval. If approved the hours you work on your special project can be submitted and count towards your total 20 hour.  If you have an idea for a special project, please bring it to the attention of our President, Jason Dorsey.

Report Your Volunteer Hours Monthly. A summary report is made quarterly. Every effort is made to keep accurate records of your volunteer time submitted. Original records and emails are retained for accuracy.

 

Volunteer Hours Reporting forms are sent out via email just before each general, monthly membership meeting.  This is so you can have a copy to hand submit at the monthly meetings.
